Stephanie Wellings (Duffy) It took Stephanie just a little more than a year to go from local dinner theatre roles in such musicals as The Sound of Music and Gypsy to daytime TV awards on CBS and now Annie. Last April, under Annie choreographer Peter Gennaro’s direction, she performed on CBS-TV during the Daytime Emmy Awards.

(Pepper) Stephanie, who played Duffy and was the understudy for the orphans during the first year on this tour, begins her second year as Pepper. In 1979, she made her professional debut on Daytime Emmy Awards Show under Annie choreographer Peter Gennaro's direction. Continuing her association with Mr. Gennaro, she perfomed on the Crystal Gale Special that he choreographed for CBS TV. In the Phila. area, she played Brigitta in The Sound of Music at the Willingboro Dinner Theater and appeared in Gypsy at the Riverfront Dinner Theater.
