Melissa Kalfa

Melissa Kalfa (Duffy) Melissa Kalfa is ten years old and from Edison, New Jersey, where her brothers Mark and Micheal and her father George live. Melissa danced at the Uris Theater in New York with Rudolf Nureyev and Zizi Jeanmarie. She was a member of the First All Children’s Theater in New York and appeared in several Off-Broadway productions including the Emperor and the Nightingale with John Schuck and Diamond Horseshoe. She sang weekly at the Children's Professional Showcase in New York called Something Different, run by Pat Young and Bob Marks. Melissa studied dance at the Dance Exchange in Edison, New Jersey with Mary Frangione and with Phil Black in New York. She studied acting with Marty Winkler and voice with Bob Marks and Bernice Elkin. Her manager is Mary Menting of Top Talent in New York.

(Tessie) Only 10, Melissa appeared with the Ballet National De Marsielles and the Boston Ballet and was one of David Merrick’s choices for the 1990 company of 42nd Street. She lives in Edison, N.J. and studies dance with Phil Black, voice with Bob Marks and Bernice Elkin and acting with Marty Winkler.
