Louanne
Louanne (Annie) Louanne captivated director Martin Charnin with her big voice, adorable personality and acting talent, all of which belied her youth. She was just nine years old when she was first chosen to understudy five of the orphans in the second national company of Annie, but was quickly elevated to the starring role, which was her first professional stage appearance. Now two years later she returns to Annie after having conquered all three entertainment media – film, television and theatre – and all without any formal training. She left the second national company of Annie to co-star with George Burns in the film, Oh God, Book II. For television she has guest starred as Tracy in the two-hour pilot of ABC’s Aloha Paradise, with Debbie Reynolds, co-starred with Lynda Carter in the CBS Movie of the Week, The Last Song, and co-starred with Dean Jones and Joan Hackett in ABC’s The Long Days of Summer. This fall she will appear with Vicki Lawrence in the TV series, Mean Jeans in which she plays Vicki’s daughter, Deena.
