Andrea McArdle (The Toughest) has had a running part as Wendy on Search For Tomorrow for 2 years and was named Best Juvenile Actress by Afternoon TV for 1976. She has appeared at dinner theaters in The King and I and The Sound of Music, made over 30 commercials and won 50 trophies for talent, beauty, and sports. Andrea played Louise Lasser's daughter in the TV pilot Mo and Joe.

(Annie) Annie, which marks her Broadway debut, has won her a Tony nomination and Theatre World and Outer Critics' Circle Awards. She won afternoon TV's 1976 Best Juvenile Actress Award for the role of Wendy which she played for three years in Search for Tomorrow. Since Annie opened, she has delighted TV audiences on Tonight, Today, The Mike Douglass Show, Wonderama, Midday, Good Morning America, The Stanley Siegel Show among others, and is scheduled for at least two NBC specials. She has made dinner theater appearances, and over 30 commercials. She appeared in the 1975 Milliken Show, is the voice of Henry on NBC-TV's Vegetable Soup, and was the subject of the NBC-TV documentary called Social Security, on which she sang and danced. Andrea, 13, lives in Philadelphia with her mother, Phyllis, her father Paul, who is an Amtrak statistician, and her brother, Michael, ten, with whom she attends Presentation BVM School.
