Hi my name is Katherine and when I was little lived and breathed Annie!! I wore the red dress everyday and sang Tommorow around the house every day. In 2009 I was in a private touring company of Annie and playing the title role of Annie!! I signed up for this website knowing that my love for this show is slowing coming back to me even though I'm 15 now

I love playing Annie so much that I am auditioning again! It is for a local theatre. It is very small but I am so excited just to audition. If I get cast I know I will have a lot of fun because the Daddy Warbucks is the same one who is in my videos from the first time I played Annie.
No call from the Broadway audition and no certificate or letter or email. Mom said they are still looking at videos and open calls. I think it is great that they are trying to give as many…

Emily Rudolph has been cast in the equity national tour of A Christmas Story the Musical. This show first opened in Kansas City and then premiered at the Seattle 5th Ave Theater last year. Emily originally auditioned to be in the premiere but then bowed out during callbacks to accept the lead as Annie at a different theater. She received a personal request from Ian Isendrath, Music Director for A Christmas Story, to audition for the national tour. That was an honor she could not…

Well tonight was the last performance. I am deeply sad. I have never connected this much with a show, cast or crew before. I am going to miss every single one of these cast members. I think I know how the audience and cast felt the night the Broadway show closed. During the song "Tomorrow" tonight, everyone backstage was in tears because it hit us that tomorrow we wouldn't see each other for a long time. I wish we could have kept this show going for weeks and weeks. I wish we could have done…

My mom and I were so excited to find out that I had an appointment to audition for Annie on Broadway. We decided to go to LA a day early so we would not have a long drive. Tuesday afternoon I started to feel my throat getting soar. I stopped talking and started drinking my water and took vitamins. My best friends live in LA so they came to the hotel to visit me and watch a movie. When I woke up my throat really hurt bad. I was so upset. My mom called my coach and he gave me a bunch of…

WOW!!! Such talent! Who knew we had it in us! This show looks amazing already! We only get three weeks of rehearsal and we sure have come a long way. We open July 21, which closer than you think. I am so excited! It's going to be the best show I've ever been in so far, and not because it's my favorite show of all time.
This is going to be a blast and I can't wait until Opening Night!

Hello! I thought I'd share our audition experience with all of you, from a Mom's point of view! I took my 10 year old daughter and arrived close to 9:30. The line was super long. We stood in line for approx. 5 hours. The line was full of talented kids and friendly people!
The girls were put into groups of 10 and taken to one of several audition rooms. The bad part about that, was there was only one staff member in each room condtucting the audition. I couldn't help but…
