Love these Annie generational photos.  Gaby with Alene Robertson who played Commissioner Doyle in Annie Warbucks off Broadway, the second Annie sequel, and of course, Gaby with the original Annie herself, Andrea McArdle!  Break a leg, Gaby.  Hope to see you in August!

Here's a video of Gaby singing:

It's great that the swings get to move to regular roles!  Does anyone else find it strange that they only cast one new swing when there are three swings currently?  Assuming Brooklyn will understudy Molly, there is no understudy for the role of Kate.

Taylor Richardson and Sadie Sink will share the title role of ANNIE on Broadway, beginning performances on Tuesday, July 30. Lilla Crawford will play her final performance as Annie on Sunday, July 28 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street).

Australian star Anthony Warlow (Oliver Warbucks) has also extended his contract with the production through December 8. As previously announced, Tony Award-winner Faith Prince joins ANNIE as Miss Hannigan on Friday, July 19.

"As we were preparing to cast the next Annie, I realized we had two wonderful candidates already in the orphanage. Both Taylor and Sadie are such unique young actresses, that I decided to let them share the role," commented director James Lapine. "Also, I am thrilled to have the great Anthony Warlow remain as our Warbucks into December. He is one of the finest actors I have had the pleasure to work with."

The schedule of performances for Richardson and Sink as Annie will be announced in coming weeks. Each girl will also play the orphan role of Duffy, when not on as Annie.

Taylor Richardson, 11, is originally from Richmond, Virginia. She originated the role of Duffy in the current production of ANNIE, and has also been the understudy for the title role of Annie. Her regional credits include Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Susan Waverly) and Honk!

Taylor Richardson and Sadie Sink

Love this picture they posted. :) I think the girls will do great- I've seen Sadie regionally and she is phenomenal.

It almost looks like a mirror image. I had to look closely to see who was who.
