April Lerman

April Lerman (Tessie) April, at age seven, became a member of the First All Children's Theater of New York. She appeared in the theater's productions of The Wizard of Oz, Three Tales at a Time, Who's Next? and was in rehearsal for a role in Clever Jack when she was cast in Annie. April appeared in a benefit production of Who's Next? at the New York Shakespere Festival on January 1, 1978, for the inauguration of Mayor Koch. In connection with the NYU Film Dept. she was in Little Girls Don't Cry. Her birthday present this year was her role of Tessie in Annie. April lives with her mother and father, and sister, Dawn, in New York. A writer in her spare time, she just finished an original musical entitled The Tree and The Magic Leaf.
